House Music - A quick Growing Trend within the Music business
House music is a synthesized electronic type of dance music that started turning up on the scene in the center of the 1980s. House originated from Chicago and was initially developed by DJs in the clubs there. It's relying on a number of other kinds of music including funky dance and disco.
No one is really quite sure why this new type of music was called House, though. It may be associated with one of the clubs in Chicago where it first started, which was named The Warehouse. Chicago was noted for its warehouse parties well-liked by the underground culture of the Latino and Black gays close to the end of the 1970s and beginning of the 1980s.
Frankie Knuckles who had been a DJ at The Warehouse combined synthesized pop music from Europe with other kinds of music including punk, disco, industrial and new wave and his unique type of music became referred to as House due to the name of the club.

An alternate theory on how House took its name develops from a musician named Larry Heard who says it is called that since the recording ended in people's houses. Many DJs within this time had the drums and synthesizers at home to be able to create this kind of music. Another theory put out with a DJ named Chip E. is that it is known as for the way it had been recorded in music studios. Nobody can tell which of those theories is appropriate.
The development of House music occurred in places where teenagers and folks who frequented clubs hung out like party houses, garages and clubs. Eventually this music started to get airplay around the radio. The length and origins of House make it less than well suited for the commercial market. It took musical instruments and altered their sound and used them in new and interesting ways. There are still many people all over the world who are into the house music scene and who are creating home music. Every year, new musicians and DJs enter into the home music scene, and that's why it has stayed popular for such a long time.

A variety of cities across the country including New York, Detroit and Atlanta possess a booming House music scene, particularly in areas having a diverse population. Even in other countries like Germany, Australia and Scandinavia, it's popular. In Chicago, there's even a House Unity Day that celebrates the birth of house music in that city on every August 10th. It is not only a fad, it is a music genre that will keep growing and spread.
